Danielle Morone joined Gatzke Dillon & Ballance LLP in 2006, and has been a partner of the firm since 2016. Danielle focuses on advising clients on environmental, land use and airport advisory and litigation matters.

Danielle represents lead agencies and project applicants on CEQA and NEPA compliance for a variety of project types, including residential and non-residential, university campus and airport development. As part of this practice, Danielle works with environmental consultants from multiple disciplines but devotes a measurable portion of her practice to air quality regulation and greenhouse gas emission reduction analyses. In this respect, she has considerable expertise in the preparation of emissions inventories for criteria air pollutants and greenhouse gases, health effect evaluations for criteria air pollutant and toxic air contaminants, and plan-level consistency studies concerning the intersection of air quality, greenhouse gas, land use and transportation.

Danielle also represents public and private airport owners/operators on matters arising under California’s State Aeronautics Act; the FAA’s orders, advisory circulars, and other agency-issued guidance; airport master planning efforts; and, regulatory compliance. Danielle relatedly works with Airport Land Use Commissions on matters concerning the preparation, adoption, amendment, and implementation of airport land use compatibility plans designed to ensure that future land uses adjacent to airports do not interfere or present incompatibilities with the aeronautical operating environment.
